EXPLORATION OF LOVE CONFLICT THROUGH ART

This book explores the love conflict within a relationship through the lens of three pairs of artists: Frida Kahlo/Diego Rivera, Yoko Ono/John Lennon and Marina Abramović/Ulay. We have created a manifesto and divided the relationship in 10 phases including the ‘breaking point’ that gives meaning to the red monolithic. 

The book includes biographical texts of the artists and critiques of their works made in direct or indirect response to their relationships. The book has two special chapters with photographic essays by  the artist Eugénia Burnay.

This project won a ADG LAUS AWARD for Graphic Design and Visual Communication.
